From Monday 11 March the timing points on this route will be pushed back by ten minutes. The route will now commence at 8.00am.
From 11 March there will be a change to the Mossburn South and Castlerock routes.
Mossburn South will now travel along Sutherland Road in order to provide a drive-past service to the many families living in this area. The bus will travel back to SH94 via Castle Rock Road.
Students living on SH94 between Sutherland Road and Dipton-Castlerock Road will now travel on the Mossburn North route.
Students living on Castle Rock Road near Frisco Road will now travel on the Mossburn South route.
The Castlerock route will now commence at Gerrard Road.
From Monday 11 March there will be a change to these routes.
The St Patricks part of the Glenure route will be removed to the Waimea route. The Waimea bus will commence at Balfour and take home the Balfour students living in this area. This means the St Patricks residents will get home a great deal sooner.
This change will take the time pressure off the Glenure route that will no longer be working hard to get to the transfer point at Waimea Valley Road.
The waypoints times for both routes will be updated after the first few days of operation.
A number of slight changes to bus routes will take effect during the week commencing 3 September 2018.
Mossburn-Five Rivers Hwy
The Mossburn North AM and Mossburn West PM routes have been slightly reduced due to a family moving. We will keep an eye on route times and adjust them if possible.
This route will now travel to Terrace Road before Crooked Road, resulting in some timing changes for families in this area. Please check the route on EasyBus for more information. This change will happen from Wednesday 5 September.
End of year approaching
With the end of the year almost in sight, it is time to think about possible route changes for 2019. If you know that you will be changing your address before the start of the new school year, please let your school know as soon as possible.
This term we are making a number of slight changes to bus routes, mostly in the Western side of the network.
These changes will take effect from Monday 30 July 2018.
Changes to route names
Following feedback from parents we’ve revised the route names to make them a little more easy to use.
Acton Downs area
This area was previously serviced by the Athol/Garston bus but will now be serviced by the Mossburn North route in the morning. This means a change in route for a couple of NSC families. This route has also been extended slightly to Lowther Road, resulting in an earlier start time.
Five Rivers area
This area will be serviced by a short route branch that travels from SH6 to Diack Road. Lumsden School families living in this area will board at Diack Road. Families living between SH6 and Diack Road will be able to board at their gates.
Changing the above section means a shorter day for students coming from this area. We have pushed the start time forward by ten minutes in the morning and reduced the drop-off times by ten minutes. We will monitor this over the next few weeks to see if these times can be further improved.
This route has had a slight extension added to it and some students will transfer from the Riversdale route.
NSC and Lumsden students living in Balfour
We have shuffled bus lists around and now all students living in Balfour should be able to fit on Robin’s Riversdale bus. We will keep a close eye on bus loadings to make sure that no students are standing on the way to school.
The Glenure AM route has been extended to #932, which has resulted in an earlier start time for students on Glenure Hill.
